Activision has reported some serious revenue gains during Q1 of its fiscal year. The
company pulled in $211.3 million, an increase of $52.6 million over last year's Q1 numbers, and is on pace to
hit the $1 billion mark by year's end. Activision played it safe this time around, capitalizing on the success of
two of the summer's biggest blockbusters: Shrek 2 & Spiderman 2. The video game counterparts of
those two franchises moved a combined 5 million units—and Spiderman is far from done. All this, and Doom 3
