You will never be able to get voip with your mobile phone because networks wouldn't want want the phone released.

I've gotta agree with koorb. Until the carriers get their way and get VoIP regulated like regular cell and land calls, there is no way VoIP phones are going to happen - there is just too much invested in the old-school networks.

AirTouch is providing WiFi VoIP service. I will be overjoyed if this gadget can work with our system. any guy want to try? I can send you a test account, just let me know the outcome.
Yes, the "old-school network" gang is going to somehow discourage WiFi devices in order to protect their golden goose.
