Spike TV recently revealed that Snoop will be hosting this year's Video Game Awards, to be
aired live December 14. In only its second year, the event awards not just the games, but the designers, the music, and
even the stars. Called a "true gamer" by the executive producer, Snoop should (hopefully) prove to be a better choice
than last year's questionable host, David Spade. Snoop has already proved to be a valuable asset in the gaming industry
by providing music for various videogame soundtracks. The Hip Hop legend and now cultural icon has also wedged himself
into digital immortality as a playable character in True Crime and the upcoming Def Jam: Fight for NY.
