Nintendo DS analysts vs. Sony PSP analysts - FIGHT!

If there's something more amusing than watching game biz analysts go at it, please let us know what it is (with a
link, if possible). Nintendo and Sony fans are sounding like Baghdad Bob these days, with lofty claims that the other
company has already screwed things up so badly that they'll be lucky to survive the year. Speaking about the Sony
PSP's possible 300 USD tag, Nobuyuki Kawamata, a senior analyst at a Tokyo research center, said
"With that price, a mother with three kids may buy them each a Nintendo DS. But if Sony decides to sell the
portable game console for 300 dollars, she won't do the same because it gets too expensive." It would be nice if the
analyst would wait for a final price before giving the professional opinion.

The way I see it, the more analysts predicting gloom and doom for the PSP the better as it might encourage Sony to release the handheld at a lower price point. Then again, the particular analysts here did seem to be under the impression that PSP was targetted at children, a notion thoroughly contradicted by SCE. Whatever happens, we'll all probably end up buying both systems at their respective launches, so let's all just hold hands and pray for a price war.

Ben Zackheim or someone who post the original DS who must hate Nintendo so much who think its for kid. Let me tell you the simple thing Nintendo have experience in handheld. Sony doesnt.
