
Over on the HomeLan Federation they've posted an interview with DOOM scriptwriter, Dave Callaham. The young talent actually secured the job two years ago at the age of 24. He earned some merit out in Hollywood for a "dark and violent" (sounds perfect) spec script, and although it hasn't turned into a movie deal, it did catch the eye of ex-Warner Bros. head of production Lorenzo di Bonaventura (credited for snagging the Matrix films). Bonaventura asked Callaham to pitch him a script for the DOOM movie, and the young writer excepted the challenge. Needless to say, the producers loved it.
