FLASH! Nintendo DS popular in Japan

The week of October 11th has brought great news for Nintendo. Their DS handheld console has taken the third spot in Japan's Top 10 Consoles list, beat only by the orginal Playstation 2 and Nintendo's own Game Boy Advance SP. Not too shabby considering the thing isn't due out for another month in Japan. Notably, it beat the Playstation 2 redesign and, of course, Microsoft's Xbox (which sold a whopping 173 units).

Well, we all know it is crap, or at least its game lineup is ;p. Only good in that area is DOA3 and DOA Ultimate... *sniff* please come back to PS2 *sniff*...

does anyone else feel weird about that appendage poking in the right side of the image?! it has the proportions of a finger but the nail is on the side like a thumb. wtf?

the DS looks awesome but I cant tell if it will have a bilt in light like the SP.
