Sonic Team has ventured into new territory, crafting a title stuffed with a dozen minigames for the EyeToy. It's a decent value for the $30 asking price, and if you own an EyeToy, you're likely starved for some attention from developers. Sonic Team does a nice job implementing the Sega IP's, but some of the games are downright awful. Crazi Taxi, for instance, has players flailing their arms, trying to hail a cab. Please. Other games, like Super Monkey Ball, are plagued with precision problems. Still, PuyoPop Fever is a blast, and House of the Dead & Virtua Fighter are noteworthy. Keep in mind that there is very little incentive to play this on your own; Superstars is best reserved for an evening distraction with the family or small group of friends. SEGA Superstars is no reason to go out and buy an EyeToy, but if you already own one, you'll be hard-pressed to find a more entertaining title for the lonely gadget.
