Nice. World of Warcraft has gone gold, meaning many of us will soon be slipping into some armor, assigning hit
points and swinging into action. The massively multiplayer online role-playing game has been in the works for years,
with a major beta that seemed to go on forever. The subscription rate for the title is 13-15 bucks, which may, or may
not, be worth it. Stay tuned for the first reviews. From the press release:
"Blizzard Entertainment® today announced that its eagerly awaited massively multiplayer online role-playing game
(MMORPG) World of Warcraft® will be in stores in North America on November 23, 2004. World of Warcraft will launch
simultaneously in Australia and New Zealand, and is planned for release in Korea, Europe, and other countries
throughout Asia shortly following."
