I don't know why I did it.
I've been harping on the Nintendo DS for months now. Two screens? Is two screens better than one screen because one is
less than two? But they tell me I can see the map in one screen and the game in the other! Wow, but, um can't I do that
by pushing the left trigger button on most Gameboy games?
And that stylus is just asking for trouble. Imagine the number of six year olds out there using a stylus to make Sonic
run really, really fast. It'll be like millions of children finally getting an excuse to scratch daddy's laptop screen.
Nintendo can expect record numbers of returns and repairs, guaranteed.
How many titles do we get on launch day? 2? 5? Bah!
And, yet, here I am. 150 bucks poorer. No idea what the hell I'm going to do with the thing, considering there won't
be any interesting games to pop in it for the rest of the year. And I'm excited, too. Can't wait. Something is
amiss here. I suspect subliminal advertising. Or it could be that the kid in me still lives…
