Master designer/producer/spokesman, Warren Spector, has left Eidos for greener pastures. Where those pastures are is unclear for now. The maker of Deus Ex has been known to be antsy at Eidos for the last year or so, so his departure isn't much of a surprise to some. But what will it mean for Eidos to lose a "Game God"? I hope he does what he wants to do, which (from a dinner I had with him and Scott McCloud) would be something to see, indeed…a game that shows you how games work. Ah, what a mind-bender.
