Yes, the outfit might have been inspired fome a game but the game is based on REAL LIFE. so you could just cut out the middle man and say the outfit was inspired by real life swat/military gear.

Some people are just out to stick it to computer games...

this is rediculous .. again. Counter-Strike isn't about taking hostages lives and invading homes of innocent people. What politician or advocates come up with this gay crap ?

The article doesn't really make it seem they are *blaming* counter-strike. The prosecutor just mentions the game as something the defendent enjoys doing. Were I on that jury, based on the quotes in this news story at least, I wouldn't think they were trying to *blame* counter-strike here. They are correctly placing the responsibility on the attackers, it seems to me.
