Fans of the seemingly always depressed hero, Solid Snake, will welcome the news that the titular misery will be
back. Again. And no, we don'
t mean in Snake Eater.
Not content with the fact that Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater has yet to actually ship, Konami announced today that
Metal Gear Solid 4 will definitely happen. This early on, obviously, there are no details known. However, it's expected
the title will be for the new PS3, rather than being a final title for the PS2.
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater hits the streets on November 17th in the US, and in Japan on December 16th. As has
become the norm it seems, Europe will have to wait until next year.
