Rumors are abound that the DS will ship one week early. Indeed, a number of people who pre-ordered the unit are reporting that they have received an email form GameStop notifying them of the change. Although Nintendo hasn't made the announcement official, all of the major (and even some minor) review sites have received the final retail version of the system, suggesting that retailers simply need to build a sufficient stockpile for launch. However, if you haven't pre-ordered the DS (GameStop & EB have stopped taking pre-orders), your chances of actually touching this coming Monday are slim to none.
