Marvel is on a bit of a rampage on the lawsuit front these days. They started with a slew of threats aimed at fan sites, moved on to skinnable games like Freedom Force, and now take aim at City of Heroes. It's perfectly justified to protect your property, but the limits are being pushed with this latest suit. Just because there are similarities between characters doesn't mean a copyright has been busted. The results of the suit could send chilling waves through a game industry that has been, and always will be, inspired by the comics medium. Where does inspiration end, and thievery begin?
