The latest Dance Dance Revolution release for the Xbox, Ultramix 2, is nothing more than an upgrade of the original formula. That said, this is no reason for a newcomer to join the millions of other dancing fools (Training Mode aside). However, fans of the series may be interested in the latest Xbox Live feature that allows players to dance-off head-to-head style. The game comes packaged with just over 30 songs, mostly J-pop & techno, with the option to download more in the future (via Live). A couple of new modes, Team Battle & Synch, are multiplayer oriented, so you'll need a couple of dance pads to really exploit them. Ultramix 2 looks to add some friendly features for DDR vets, but does little to attract new feet.
