We predicted in a post last week, with a throwaway remark, that Steam would
collapse under the weight of the online authentication needed to run
the store bought version of Half-Life 2.
Well, in a spooky bit of premonition, Steam has collapsed under the weight of the online authentication needed to run
the store bought version Half-Life 2. It feels so good to be right. The problem appears to mainly be in Europe, and
does NOT seem to effect the Steam downloaded version of the game. Merely the store bought version that 90% of people
probably have.
There is something enjoyable about predicting this a week or so before it happened. Next we predict the demise of
Microsoft, Acclaim will rises from the ashes, and the biggest selling game of next year will be "Ashlee Simpson's
Karaoke Dance Party".

You mean "affect". The verb "effect" means to create. Rain clouds effect rain, and the rain affects the ground's dryness.

Wow, Steam collapsed under Half Life 2's release. Good prediction.
Let's see, I predict that many people will buy the next version of Windows. I also predict that it may rain sometime next year.
Any other brilliant insights?
