Gotta love Nakamura-san! After all, Tecmo's president has been mixing it up more than
Itagaki-san (pictured right)—maybe the fiery temper of Team Ninja's leader has finally caught on to the higher-ups.
Okay, okay, so what he said about Sony wasn't completely outrageous:
"There's not much information from Sony [about PlayStation 3]. The situation with Microsoft is very different. The CPU
was developed for a next-generation game machine, but the hardware is conceived by an appliance manufacturer… I feel
that they're probably trying to use games as a way to increase their power in the home appliance industry."
After expressing his discontent with Sony's current strategy, Nakamura-san went on to conclude that Microsoft was
learning from its failures in Japan and that the Xbox 2 would become a success there. Clearly, Tecmo's allegiance lies
with Microsoft, at least for the time being…
