The final entry in the Gamespot Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth Designer Diary has been posted. It's chock full of interesting observations on the final days of the project. The focus is on the polishing of the game in those final days, as bugs disappear from the bugs list, visions of vacation dance in the collective head, and a few eureka moments make the game as good as it's going to get. All in all, if the game is as intriguing as the diaries have let on, we may be in for a top-notch Lord of the Rings title. We're due for one.
