No, not a new Sony announcement, heaven forbid. No, this is one for the hobbyists
out there. The fine folk who'd rather spend all day slaving over a
hot soldering iron than listening to the in-laws harp on about their bunions and that nice lady down the street with
all the cats.
This is a project for those who are serious about their portable gaming. For whom the GBA doesn't cut it. Who needs
the DS or the PSP when you can drag GTA San Andreas around with you, baby? Hernias and back spasms not withstanding of
course.
Some kind soul/lunatic has posted detailed instructions on how to smash up your perfectly good Playstation 2, and turn
it into a fancy portable. The dream is alive folks. Soon, we'll all be playing GTA in the bath. Not the same bath,
obviously…
