Gran Turismo is considered to be the finest racing sim on the consoles. For now. With Sony's constant attempts at
seemingly deliberately sabotaging the latest iteration, a
lot of people are growing weary of being messed around, and have been
talking excitedly about this upcoming Xbox title, which a lot of people are seeing as a potential GT killer. Some are
even saying about dumping the PS2 entirely going to the Xbox.
Forza Motosport certainly looks promising. Microsoft Game Studios have announced the game will ship in February.
Pretty much the same time frame that Gran Turismo 4 has been bumped too. Let battle commence.
The link shows some of the very detailed car customisations you can indulge in via Forza. An area where, I believe,
this game has Gran Turismo soundly beaten. (My last GT was GT2.)
