Sony PSP launch details are unclear
Apparently, Sony hasn't nailed down many details on how they plan to launch the PSP in Japan next month. It looks like the number of units available hasn't been set, and stores just can't take pre-orders as a result. If this launch is like the PS2 launch, then expect to pay a lot for your PSP if you go the ebay route. Also, check out the link for a couple of pics of the retail box.

As long as they release enough here in Cananda/North America whenever they release it here. I will be happy, because i'm picking one up. Done and done. The games look promising. Some amazing RPGs are being made, Metal Gear Acid i want, i want it ALL ALL ALL. 4-6 Hours of battery life? Whocares, i'll buy myself 2-3 Spare batteries and i'm set.

You can already reserve one at Gamestop.... which I would recommend after what happened at EB stores with the DS

for media and additional news about the PSP, also the batery life should be arround 5-8 hours depending on the game or movie you are watching. there is no need to buy so many batteries unless you plan on going on road trips (however the more affordable option would still be to buy the car charger) the site above was taking pre-orders however they have stopped (check back regularly after christmass and the rush should have subsided)
