The Tech Report has posted a great analysis of SLI at its finest. In a nutshell, SLI (for the uninitiated) is a
graphics system that lets you string two cards together to share processing power. The basis of the machine in the
review is an Asus A8N-SLI motherboard. The A8N-SLI is an nForce4-based board with a pair of PCI Express x16 graphics
slots. They touch on everything from power consumption to frame rates for Far Cry, Doom 3 and Half-Life 2.
This article has some crazy, detailed pictures of the rig. It looks like it can get real hot in there.
