the2bears has done it again. Our mole on the inside of the independent developer scene has dropped a bomb by the name of Torus Trooper. The shoot 'em up has touches of Tempest, which is enough to make me take notice. I haven't played it yet but I looked over our favorite gamer's shoulder as he wasted company time on it. "Impressive", is the word that comes to mind. "Timesucker" is the word that will come to mind later tonight, as my wife tries to get me to come to bed. The game is free, and requires OpenGL to run.
