Ubisoft has confirmed that a new Rainbow Six game is under development by Red Storm Entertainment & Ubisoft's
own Montreal Studios. While we don't know of an official title, we do know that the game will follow the exploits
of series' favorites Ding Chavez & Dieter Weber as they try to defuse a bioterror threat. Expect better AI,
and some new gadgets, including motion sensors & battering rams.
And of course, the new Rainbow Six will feature extensive multiplayer modes. This time around, the PS2 &
Xbox will be getting a few online exclusives. The PS2 will get Rivalry Mode, which pits Team Rainbow against the
Mercs in objective-based warfare. And Xbox Live gamers will have access to Career Mode, allowing players to build
and evolve a Rainbow member through a series of missions.
Look for the new Rainbow Six to launch next spring.
