The slimmed-down Playstation 2 is tough to find this year, making a lot of people, including the folks of Joystiq, mad as hell. How are we going to make more space in our living rooms if we can't downsize our old PS2? What will we use as a conversation piece when the family comes over for Christmas? It looks like the little wonder has a bunch of people enthralled by its elegance, because the complaints are rolling in from retailers around the world. Sony promises they'll ramp up production, but will it be too little, too late? Pun intended. Sorry.
