SNES sound: music to our ears

Congrats to a Mr. Raphael Assénat for dissecting the SNES Audio Processing Unit (APU) from the rest of the system.  What does this mean?  Well, now he can enjoy all of the classic SNES sound from the convenience of a separate, parallel port.  And if that's not enough, Assénat even shows us how to turn that sound into a digital output.
