We're not sure this is much of a scoop, but it does point to a likelihood that Xbox 2 will indeed be shown at this year's Consumer Electronics Show. The Spong piece claims that anonymous sources have verified that a meeting will be held at MS on January 17th — 12 days after Gates is to give the keynote at CES. Read the piece for their train of thought, which we agree with. It sounds like the perfect forum to capitalize on the buzz that an announcement would cause.
