Three shops accused of selling modded Xboxs have been raided by the feds, in Washington DC. It's been reported that the shops had been selling consoles with games pre-installed on the hard drive. If true, there isn't much to defend here. It's an all-out crime to offer packages like this. It just goes to show you, piracy doesn't pay. If MS deems something harmful to their business, they'll go after it.

I hadn't heard the preinstalled games part before. That makes more sense to me. The most I had read was that they were selling modded Xboxes. While it still might not be right, I don't think that would have called for a Fed-raiding party.

I just think it's funny how there are still Nintendo pirates selling systems in the middle of my local mall. Sure Nintendo has brought legal action against the people that make them, but you hardly have the feds sacking the ones that are still open.

Retards they are. Even homebrew open source software is illegal if it is built with the XDK, I bet those Xboxs had plenty of that too.

This guy and his store deserve this. Fro many years most people i know refer to the owner as Jabba the Cube. This came about not only because of his immense weight but because the guy would price gouge like crazy and sell pirated stuff in plain daylight. (every DVD and CD they sell are HK bootlegs) No compassion for that guy or his damn stores....
