Or maybe not. It's always amazed me that, until recent years, if you wanted monster
based action, you had to rely on the old arcade classic "Rampage". A
great game for it's time.
Godzilla Save The Earth is the latest in a line of monster games for the consoles. Having played it myself, it's
pretty fun. The unlocking cycle is lame, since you have to play through the extraordinarily repetitive (not to mention
rubbish) story mode. There is a good deal of fun to be had, though. I especially liked the challenges, like cause X
number of dollars worth of damage, or knock our three monsters with boulders. Strangely enjoyable.
Too bad the reviewer doesn't really agree…
