Microsoft is a little slow in getting their 64-bit Windows ready for prime-time, but it appears they're getting close. The finishing touches are being put on the Server and XP Pro products. This will allow those of us with 64-bit AMD chips to enjoy some extra speed and stability. Why does this matter to us gamers? Direct access to 4GB of physical memory, comes to mind. No, there aren't any games that take advantage of this (to our knowledge), but they will. Mark our words.
