Now, even Intel is jumping on the bandwagon. After years of telling us that 64 bits was overrated, Intel will be offering up a 64-bit chip. The fact that the tech will even be available in the company's budget Celeron line is a sure sign that they are committed. There have been reports that the Intel iteration is primarily using AMD technology to catch up with their competition…AMD. That's the kind of irony that makes the world go round. Bottom line is that 64 bit computing will be widely available within months, not years. Let the free market reign!
