For those of a certain age, and shall we say a certain disposition, Jeff Minter is a legend. A friend of
mine
once knocked on the Hairy Yak's front door and boldly asked for
his autograph. Minter signed the autograph "Your Mind is my Ashtray".
Minter has always been a rebel of sorts, creating quirky, and often hugely addictive games. Lionhead Games and Jeff
Minter were working together and, sadly, it sounds like the relationship went south. Though as is always the case, the
wording of the press release is vague, so let the rampant speculation begin.
The game was to have been a shooter, which if you've played any of Minter's prior titles, you'll know his unique take
would have been something special and worth playing. Ah well…
