Okay, this is a strange one. It's a link to a streaming video (be warned, link clickers! It's ASX
format,
so in Windows at least, it will open in
Windows Media Player most likely).
It's entirely in Japanese, so the captions are meaningless unless you know the language. (If you do, feel free to post
a translation.) However, it's fairly easy to see what's going on. A bunch of DS systems, hooked up to an amplifier,
each set to make the sound of a different instrument. Then said DS systems are played by various people, some of them
even in time with each other…
The music produced is not great obviously, it sounds like simple MIDI, but to see a handful of people linked together
for a performance is strangely entertaining. DS as performance art?
