Cnet finds an interesting analogy for Sony's PSP experience. To them, the whole project has been like a difficult pregnancy. Yes, the article was written by a man, but I think his analogy is pretty good. And, yes, by most standards, I'm a man too. But if you look back on the short PSP history it's been ripe with strife from day one. First, there was the general disbelief that Sony was getting involved in Nintendo's space. Then there were rumblings about lack of development infrastructure. Then came the battery life argument, which still boils today. We'll see if all the pain was worth it when everyone gets their trial run with the device. For now, we can all just hope it lives up to a fraction of the hype.
