The guy who wrote the script for the Doom movie, Dave Callaham, has written an open letter to Doom fans. Apparently, there have been some quotes attributed to him that he wants to disown. He also wants to paint a clear picture of what happens when a film is made. It may be his script they're working from — but the script in Hollywood usually ends up being a doorstop. He makes some good points about how adapting any game to film is a tough road, especially when its a classic game, like Doom. While he tries to sugarcoat it a little, it's clear that he thinks the production is off on the wrong track. Overall, he should see some heat disappear after fans read the letter.
