I'm a Formula One junkie. Have been for damn near two decades now, though I admit, the "sport" lately has pushed even my patience to the breaking point.
However, I'm still a sucker for F1 games. The PS2 is a pain, though, mainly because from what I've seen, the latest
iterations (and Sony has the exclusive F1 license until 2006 or 2007, I forget which) are PAL only, meaning us poor
suckers stuck in NTSC land are hosed.
Which is where the PSP handily comes in. F1 2004 from Sony is looking quite nice, and has classic rides in it too.
(Check out the John Player Special Lotus!) My only complaint, and this is serious nitpicking but still, is the second
screenshot on the first page. I'm guessing that's the Melbourne circuit. If it is, they appear to have made it a lot
narrower than it is in reality.
As I said, serious nitpicking…
