While the PC has the venerable "Links" series, an absolutely gorgeous game, console golf games
seem to be largely hit and miss. Say "golf game" and most people will
think of the EA Sports/Tiger Woods juggernaut. Though with Woods slipping of late, how long before we get "Vijay
Singh's PGA Tour Golf"?
Outlaw Golf is now what you would call a hardcore golf game, though it's starting to sound like it's at least not an
insult to those who like to whack little white balls around in the real world. In fact, it seems the game is starting
to play a pretty nice round. Plus, if you're the violent type, you get to beat the snot out of your caddie, without
those pesky assault charges.
It's looking like a pretty sweet game.
