Thanks to the success of the "Dear Friends: Music from Final Fantasy" Concert back in May at the Walt Disney Concert
Hall in LA (sold out in three days), the world-renowned series will be extended to the Rosemont Theatre in Illinois
(near Chicago). The performance will be held on February 19 and will feature the Chicagoland Pops conducted by
Arnie Roth. The show will be produced by Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu and is a testament to the growing
acceptance of videogames into mainstream art.

I was there at the May concert in L.A. and it was simply too amazing for words. If you follow the series and you have the music in your collection, you'll definitely want to experience it live. My friend who was there with me described as an "eargasm", especially during Aeris' Theme, which is beyond greatness when played by a live symphony. They had the American voice actor for Titus from FF10 as M.C., and no one knew who he was until he spoke the lines from the game! I live in Maryland, so this time going to Chicago (on a Saturday instead of a Monday like the May concert) might be easier on my schedule and my pocket, and I definitely want to experience it again. It's too bad I couldn't get enough funds for the other ones in Europe...
