If you're a fan of one of the finest comics in history, Hellblazer, you may share my deep sense of dread about the upcoming film adaptation. Constantine, starring Keanu Reeves of all people, looks like another one of those Hollywood disasters which are made from the source material's "high concept" — without any regard for the subtleties that made the material successful in the first place. If the Gamespot preview is any indication, maybe we don't have to worry too much about the Constantine game. We can't expect a classic, but we can certainly hope for competence, right? They like the graphics, they like the control scheme and they like the gameplay (well, they call it "interesting").
