EA's plans to control all of the world's athletic resources have finally hit a brick wall: The NBA. The league has rejected EA's initial bid for the exclusive rights to all NBA associated licenses. The offer was rejected mainly because Live doesn't dominate the basketball gaming universe, and the NBA would actually be losing money buy selling its rights to EA.
