Chris Morris examines the two biggest trends
of the year, sex and sequels—and ponders the absence of new franchises—in his latest Game Over column. Interestingly
enough, publishers discovered that the gaming public is not as interested in sex (at least in video games) as they had
anticipated—I mean, c'mon guys, that's what the Internet is for, duh. Leisure Suit Larry, The Guy Game, &
Singles where complete duds—only Leisure Suit Larry moved over 100,000 units. Meanwhile, blockbuster sequels took
the real cake, and for the most part, didn't disappoint.
