The news this past couple of weeks has been all Electronic Arts. However much EA
want to dominate sports, though, they have a way to go.
Take Two have quietly announced, in their annual SEC report, that they have acquired a bunch of properties from
Microsoft. Perhaps the biggest surprise is that Microsoft sold the well known "Links" golf franchise. Snow boarding and
boxing properties have also been acquired.
Take Two, of course, have a sizeable bank account to go head to head with EA, courtesy of a little title you may have
heard of, called "Grand Theft Auto".
