Okay, so it's not QUITE that dramatic, but the article does a really good job of pointing out the
problems with the way Nintendo are run these days. Like how some of
their biggest titles just aren't attracting a new audience, and are essentially rehashes of the same game over and
over.
The article is written by an obvious fan of the company, but he's not a braindead fanboy. He sees the company has some
big problems to deal with. He points out how, for example, Jak, Ratchet and Clank, and Sly Cooper (all PS2 titles for
those unaware) have seriously upped the stakes in the platformer department.
In short, Nintendo has stagnated, and the author believes that Nintendo are currently incapable of coming up with
anything like the aforementioned PS2 platformers. It's an interesting read.
