Fire Emblem is one of the best role-playing games ever. It came out of nowhere and proved that turn-based action was very much alive. Its combination of depth and extensive story showed us all how it should be done. Yeah, it could get wordy, but the story was excellent. The bottom line is, if you own a Game Boy Advance and don't have Fire Emblem in your library you're really missing out. With the release of Fire Emblem for the Gamecube, many of us who don't own the console are considering it. This preview of the game seems to be impressed, noting that the gameplay is all there (though the graphics are nothing special - look here to make your own judgment). We'll also be treared to some interesting additions to the mechanics, including the ability to learn new skills. June can't come soon enough.
