In the wake of yesterday's bomb, aka Resident Evil 4, LucasArts & Pandemic have dropped another gem on us—Xbox & PS2 owners needn't be so jealous now.
Mercenaries is off to impressive start, as far as critical acclaim goes, with the Xbox version faring slightly better than the PS2. IGN—true, they inflate scores—went with a '91', as did Team Xbox. And The Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine chipped in a '90' towards the PS2's average. And don't forget, yesterday, we posted GameSpy's opinions. Of course, we'll just have to wait and see if GameSpot is sticking to its New Year's resolution not to hate on the hot games…
