The early bird gets the "Worms"

But at 70%, would they want it? The story of Worms, at least originally, is pretty interesting. Ifworms forts memory serves, nobody would publish it, so the developer sent it in to a competition at the late lamented "Amiga Format", won, got picked up by Team 17, and got published. The rest is proverbial.

The first "Worms" was good. The second "Worms" better still. "Worms Armageddon" was a riot. Since then it's gone a bit awry, and now we have "Worms Forts: Under Siege". It's 3D. Yes, because 3D makes everything better. Unsurprising to some, the game hasn't transitioned that well. I seem to recall an earlier 3D effort, but I tuned out after "Armageddon" to be honest. Though I still hum the theme song.
