If you're blood isn't still boiling over the EA takeover, you should check out this interview that IGN has posted with EA's Senior VP of Marketing Frank Gibeau. Believe it or not, some decent questions are posed, and for the most part, honest answers are given.
Truth is, Gibeau is right, this is big business and this is what happens. And as much as I'll miss the 2K series, I just don't want to sit around and hate anymore—that doesn't mean I'm willing to hand over $50, not yet. EA has gone forward with what it was birthed to do, and if you don't like that, you probably don't like a lot of things about this world. Hey, I'm not condoning what has taken place here, I'm just suggesting that we let go of this "Evil Empire" moniker and quietly close our wallets. And if you can't get down with that, take solace in the fact that EA will not be on top forever.
