It's rumor, as of now, but it sounds very likely that Nokia's Ngage is about to get shoved into the closet. The gaming handset has never really caught on, though it has one million owners worldwide. The titles have started to improve, but it may not be enough to save the initiative. The company has made no secret of cutting back the department, but the Inquirer piece claims that's only step one. It would be a sad thing to see a console leave the market. We'll keep an eye on this one.
