No more players for World of Warcraft?

World of WarcraftThere have been rumours for the last few days that Blizzard were ordering retailers to pull their massively successful World of Warcraft title from the shelves. This is in the wake of some severe server issues.

Blizzard have denied that they've had the game pulled, claiming they're just not going to be releasing additional copies. Nor is there any indication as to when this will change. A look at the Blizzard online store shows the game is not in stock.

Regardless of what's going on, one thing is for sure. If you're not already a World of Warcraft subscriber, you won't be seeing this box for an unknown amount of time.
