Would you big console makers stop apologizing for everything? Or, at least time the apologies so it doesn't look
like you're coordinating the apologies. Can you picture the execs at Nintendo and Sony gathering their corporate
astrologers together to decipher the best moon/sun tangent for saying you're sorry? Okay, neither can I; but all the
sudden contriteness is kind of creeping me out.
First Sony goes on a small "sorry" spree over their misuse of proprietary tech, failure to capitalize on the mp3 wave,
and a general sense that they were not keeping up with the times. Now, Nintendo tells Europe they're sorry for
neglecting the market. Next up, Gates will be apologizing for talking about my living room all the time.
